Chopper Spins Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Beach
A chopper soaring above a well-attended California shoreline abruptly started spinning out of control, eventually losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Footage uploaded online depict the chopper beginning to twirl above Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the coast, where it becomes wedged between palm groves and a steps adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters stated five individuals were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” after the incident on that day.
Three people on the pavement were harmed. Information on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.

The department mentioned the aircraft was associated with an regular “Cars N Copters” charity gathering set for the following day.
